(ហ្សឺណែវ, ស្វ៊ីស)៖ នារសៀលថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ ទី២៧ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ លោកជំទាវ ចម និម្មល រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម បានជួបពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយលោកជំទាវបណ្ឌិត Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala អគ្គនាយិកាអង្គការពាណិជ្ជកម្មពិភពលោក (WTO) អំឡុងពេលទៅចូលរួមកិច្ចប្រជុំស្តីពីការត្រួតពិនិត្យឡើងវិញគោលនយោបាយពាណិជ្ជកម្មលើកទី៣ នៅទីស្នាក់ការ WTO នៅទីក្រុងហ្សឺណែវ ប្រទេសស្វ៊ីស។

នៅក្នុងជំនួបពិភាក្សានេះ លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី និងលោកជំទាវអគ្គនាយិកាបានផ្លាស់ប្តូរយោបល់លើតួនាទីនៃប្រព័ន្ធពាណិជ្ជកម្មពហុភាគីក្នុងការគាំទ្រដល់ការអភិវឌ្ឍសង្គម សេដ្ឋកិច្ចរបស់ប្រទេសសមាជិកអភិវឌ្ឍន៍តិចតួច និងសារៈសំខាន់នៃយន្តការត្រួតពិនិត្យគោលនយោបាយពាណិជ្ជកម្មក្នុងការពង្រឹងគោលការណ៍តម្លាភាពរបស់ WTO។ លោកជំទាវអគ្គនាយិកាបានសម្តែងនូវការកោតសរសើរចំពោះការចូលរួមយ៉ាងសកម្មរបស់កម្ពុជាក្នុងកិច្ចការងាររបស់ WTO ជាពិសេសតួនាទីរបស់កម្ពុជាក្នុងនាមជាអ្នកសម្របសម្រួលក្រុមប្រទេស LDC និងការបំពេញកាតព្វកិច្ចនានា ដូចជាការអនុវត្តបាន ១០០% នៃកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងកិច្ចសម្រួលពាណិជ្ជកម្ម និងការផ្តល់សច្ចាប័នលើកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងឧបត្ថម្ភធនជលផលជាដើម។ លោកជំទាវអគ្គនាយិកា ក៏បានកោតសរសើរដល់កម្ពុជាចំពោះការសម្រេចបាននូវម៉ាក្រូសេដ្ឋកិច្ចដ៏រឹងមាំ និងការខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងរបស់ខ្លួនក្នុងការធ្វើពិពិធកម្ម។

លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី បានធ្វើការវាយតម្លៃខ្ពស់ចំពោះការលើកឡើងរបស់លោកជំទាវអគ្គនាយិកា និងបានគូសបញ្ជាក់អំពីការគាំទ្ររបស់កម្ពុជាចំពោះប្រព័ន្ធពាណិជ្ជកម្មពហុភាគីដែលបើកចំហ និងផ្អែកលើវិធានច្បាប់ ដែលបានផ្ដល់អត្ថប្រយោជន៍ជាច្រើនដល់កម្ពុជា។ លោកជំទាវបានចាត់ទុកការត្រួតពិនិត្យគោលនយោបាយពាណិជ្ជកម្មជាយន្តការដ៏សំខាន់មួយសម្រាប់សមាជិកក្នុងការយល់ដឹងអំពីគោលនយោបាយ និងការអនុវត្តពាណិជ្ជកម្មរបស់កម្ពុជា និងសម្រាប់កម្ពុជាក្នុងការឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងអំពីការអនុវត្តរបស់ខ្លួនផងដែរ។ លោកជំទាវរដ្ឋមន្ត្រី បានសម្តែងនូវសេចក្តីសោមនស្សរីករាយចំពោះការចូលរួមរបស់សមាជិក ដែលបានបង្ហាញចំណាប់អារម្មណ៍មកលើគោលនយោបាយ និងការអនុវត្តពាណិជ្ជកម្មរបស់កម្ពុជា។

Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, met with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the WTO

(Geneva, Switzerland): On the afternoon of Thursday, 27 March 2025, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce met with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the WTO on the sidelines of Cambodia’s 3rd Trade Policy Review.

In the meeting, Her Excellency Minister and the Director-General exchanged views on the role of the multilateral trading system in supporting socio-economic development of the least-developed Members and the importance of trade policy review mechanism in strengthening the transparency principle in the WTO. The Director-General extended her appreciation to the active participation of Cambodia in all aspects of the WTO’s works, particularly Cambodia’s leadership role in the LDC group and fulfilment of many commitments including the 100% implementation of the Trade Facilitation Agreement and the ratification of the Fisheries Subsidies Agreement. The Director-General also praised Cambodia for its strong macroeconomic achievements and diversification efforts.

Her Excellency Minister valued the comments made by the Director-General and underscored Cambodia’s support for the open, rules-based multilateral trading system which has provided many benefits to Cambodia. Her Excellency considered the Trade Policy Review as an important mechanism for Members to understand Cambodia’s trade policies and practices and for Cambodia to reflect on its implementation. Her Excellency Minister was pleased to see Members’ enthusiasm and constructive engagement which indicated Members’ high level of interests on Cambodia’s trade policies and practices.
