(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Thursday, 3 April 2025, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency KEM Sithan, Permanent Secretary of State and High Representative of Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, chaired the weekly meeting attended by the Ministry’s leaders, including the Secretary of State, Undersecretary of State, Director General, Directors of Departments, Directors of Provincial Departments, and other officials.

The weekly meeting, held at the Ministry of Commerce and via video conference, covered the following agendas:

1. Brief report on the progress of Cambodia’s 3rd Trade Policy Review (3rd TPR) meeting.

2. Brief report on the progress of the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Commerce and the six animal feed manufacturers on cooperation to promote the procurement of red corn, cassava, and raw materials.

3. Brief report on the implementation of the Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders (AIMS), Phase I, and preparations for the implementation of AIMS, Phase II.

4. Brief report on the progress of preparations for participation in World Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

5. Brief report of the Takeo Provincial Department of Commerce.
