Agreement
on Economic and Technical Cooperation Between
the
Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of
the
People's Republic of China
The Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the people’s Republic of China, for further developing the friendly relations and the economic and technical cooperation between the two countries, have agreed as follows:
Article I:
In accordance with the needs of the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia for restoring and developing its national economy, the Government of the People’s Republic of China provides the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia with a grant of RMB Yuan 50,000,000RMB (Fifty Million Renminbi Yuan only).
Article II:
The above-said grant shall be used by the Chinese Government to help the Cambodian Government in construction of complete-plant projects, provision of equipment and implementation of technical cooperation. The specific projects and relevant matters shall be agreed upon through consultations between the two Governments.
Article III:
Detailed accounting procedures regarding the implementation of this Agreement shall be agreed upon through consultations between the bank designated by the government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Bank of China.
Article IV:
This
Agreement shall come into force on the date of signature and shall remain
in force until the date when the two governments have fulfilled all their
obligations hereof.
Done in duplicate in Phnom Penh on November 18, 1995 in English, Chinese and Cambodian languages, each side keeping one original three texts being equally authentic.
