ANUKRET
on the Creation of the National Construction Medal and the National Construction Certificate

 

Royal Government of Cambodia

  • Seen the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;

  • Seen the Royal Decree of His Majesty the King of Cambodia, Samdech Preah NORODOM SIHANOUK VARMAN, dated November 1, 1993, on the Formation of the Royal Government of Cambodia; and

  • Seen the utmost needs to rehabilitate Cambodia

 

IT IS HEREBY DECIDED

 

Article 1:

To create the medal for the National Construction and the Certificate of National Construction to bestow to generous national and foreign persons or associations who contribute either in cash or materials to take part in the nation building and in the front line battlefield.

Article 2:

The National Construction Medals are in 3 categories:

  • Level One has a gold color.

  • Level Two has a silver color.

  • Level three has a bronze color.

The conditions for bestowing the National Construction Medals shall be as follows:

1.   Any generous person who contribute either in cash or materials to the State at least an  amount of USD 100,000 shall be bestowed the Level One National Construction Medal, and the Royal Government shall request the King for bestow him the title of "OKNHA" (SIR).

2.   Any generous person who contribute either in cash or materials to the State an amount ranging between USD 10,000 to USD 100,000 shall be bestowed the Level One National Construction Medal.

3.   Any generous person who contribute either in cash or materials to the State an amount ranging between USD 5,000 to USD 10,000 shall be bestowed the Level Two National Construction Medal.

4.   Any generous person who contribute either in cash or materials to the State an amount ranging between USD 1,000 to USD 5,000 shall be bestowed the Level Three National Construction Medal.

The National Construction Medal shall be approved by a Sub-Decree of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Article 3:

Any generous person who contribute either in cash or materials to the State an amount ranging between USD500 to USD1,000 shall be bestowed the National Construction Certificate. The National Construction Certificate shall be approved by the Cabinet of the Council of Ministers.

Article 4:

Any ministries, institutions, secretariats, provincial and municipal administrations, after accepting a contribution from any persons as mentioned in Articles 2 and 3, shall forward their names and a report on the contribution to the Cabinet of the Council of Ministers for submission to the Royal Government.

Article 5:

The Co-ministers in charge of the Cabinet of the Council of Ministers, Ministers of all Ministries, Secretaries of State of all State Secretariats, Governors of all municipalities and provinces shall implement this Sub-Decree from the date of its signatures.
