PRAKAS (DECLARATION)

DECLARATION NO. 3436 ON THE CREATION OF A TECHNICAL SUB-COMMISSION TO CONTROL THE REPAIRS OF POCHENTONG AIRPORT

 Phnom Penh, November 25, 1994

 

  • Seen the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;

  • Seen the Royal Decree of His Majesty the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Preach NORODOM SIHANOUK VARMAN, dated  November 1, 1993 on the Formation of the Royal Government;

  • Seen the the Contract between the Ministry of Public Works and Transports of the Royal Government of Cambodia and MEADA, a Japanese company, dated November 5, 1994, on  the reparation project of Pochentong International Airport; and

  •  Pursuant to the main needs of the Ministry

IT IS HEREBY DECIDED

Article 1:

To create a technical sub-commission with the following composition:

1. Mr.  Sieng Hak Director General of the Ministry of Public Works and Transports Chairman
 
2. Mr. Sok Putheurn Representative of  the Cambodian Civil Aviation Authority Member
 
3. Mr. Chea Sang Hong Assistant to the new department Member
 
4. Mr. Peng Sovichea NEW work department      Member
 
5. Mr. Pen Vichet NEW work department Member
 
6. Mr. Fred Terry Representative of UNDP/OPS    Advisor

                            

Article 2:

This Sub-commission shall be in charge of controlling the process of repairing and improving the Pochentong International Airport, and MAEDA Company shall be responsible for undertaking the repair works by using internationally acceptable standards technology and in accordance with the plan of the Royal Government. All members of this sub-commission shall participate in meetings at the request of the Chairman.

Article 3:

The Director General and the Chief of the Cabinet of the Ministry shall implement this declaration  in an efficient manner from the date of its signature.
