Anukret

on the Establishment of the General Secretariat of the Council for Armed Forces Demobilization 

Royal Government of Cambodia

 

  • Referring to the 1993 Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;

  • Referring to Reach Kret NS/RKT/1198/72 of November 30, 1998 on the formation of the Royal Government of Cambodia;

  • Referring to Kram 02/NS/94 of July 20, 1994 promulgating the Law on the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers;

  • Referring to Reach Kret No. 0399/72 of  March 19, 1999 on the Appointment of the Supreme Council of State Reform;

  • Pursuant to the request of the Chairman of the Supreme Council of State Reform.


IT IS HEREBY DECIDED
 

CHAPTER 1

GENERAL SECRETARIAT OF THE
COUNCIL FOR ARMED FORCES DEMOBILIZATION

 

Article 1:     the General Secretariat of the Council for Armed Forces Demobilization shall be created as an administratively autonomous body. 

Article 2:     the General Secretariat of the Council shall have the following composition:

  • H.E. Svay Sitha, Under Secretary of State attached to the Council of Ministers, as Secretary General.

  • H.E. PRUM SAM OL, as Deputy Secretary-General with rank equivalent to a deputy director general.

  • H.E.  KHIEU CHHEN, as Deputy Secretary-General with rank equivalent to a deputy director.


CHAPTER 2

Final Provisions
 

Article 3:     All regulations contrary to this Anu-kret shall be considered as null and void. 

Article 4:     This Anu-kret shall come into effect from the date of its signature. 

Article 5:     The Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Co-Ministers of National Defense, the Co-Ministers of Interior, the Minister of Rural Development, the Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Vocational Training and Youth Rehabilitation and ministers and state secretaries of relevant ministries/institutions shall be responsible for the enforcement of this Anukret in accordance with their respective responsibility.
