Temporary Leave of Civil Servants Who Stands The Royal
Government of Cambodia
Article
1:
Pursuant to Reach Kram No. NS/1296/06 of November 26, 1997
regarding the parliamentary election, the civil servant, as stated in
Article 3 of this Reach Kram, who has been selected by his/her political
party to be a candidate for parliament election is entitled to a special
leave and his /her salary, seniority, and position shall be maintained.
Such position shall expire upon the date of the final declaration of the
election results. The
civil servants shall submit an application at least seven (7) days prior
to the date of the election campaign with his/her superior's signature
granting permission and shall notify the Council of Ministers and the
National Election Committee. Article
2: The
civil servant who is elected as a parliament member shall be disaffiliated
from his/her cadre during the period of his/her parliamentary mandate.
Such official shall submit an application to his/her ministry or
institution in which he/she holds his/her position. Article
3: The
parliamentary candidate who serves as Undersecretary of State shall apply
for a special leave from the Prime Minister. In particular, advisors who
are civil servants shall apply for leave from his/her head of institution
as the case may be. Article
4: The
minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, ministers,
secretaries of state, and interested civil servants shall effectively
implement this Anukret from the date of signature herein. Phnom Penh,
