NOTIFICATION

ON REQUIREMENT TO ALL FOREIGN ENTITIES ACCOMPANY WITH
EVIDENCE OF INNOCENCE FOR FILLING APPLICATION FORM

With reference to Anukret No. 88 ANK/BK of December 29, 1997 on the Implementation of Law on Investment of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the proposal letter of the Ministry of Interior No. 892 of August 17, 1999 and the decision of the Royal Government of Cambodia in its letter No. 1587 of November 4, 1999, the Council for the Development of Cambodia “CDC” hereby inform all Samdech, Neak Oknha, and concerned individuals living inside and outside the Kingdom of Cambodia that for the purpose of preventing unfavorable eventualities and to strengthen public security and social order, the CDC may require the Foreign Entity wishing to invest in Cambodia to submit the following additional documents: 

1.   evidence of non criminal records of the Investor issued by the competent authorities and notarized by their respective       embassy in Cambodia. 

2.   document certifying the financial ability of the Investor, his curriculum vitae, or financial ability of the foreign holding       company “if any” recognized by competent institutions and notarized by their respective embassy in Cambodia. 

This Notification shall enter into force on January 1, 2000. 

As such, Samdech, Neak Oknha, and concerned individuals living inside and outside Cambodia are hereby informed and requested to collaborate in the effective implementation of this Notice.
